I am looking to buy a new Jetta 118TSI - 7 Speed DSG

I live in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide. The VW here has it listed as $38,038.

I have a trade in which they have offered $32,500 for (redbook says trade in value $29,000 - $33,000)

What is a realistic price I should be looking at paying for the new car? $34,000? $35,000?

Has anyone dealt with any VW in SA and what are your experiences like?

Hey all, thanks for the welcome.

After 5 hours of intense negotiations and a walk out, I purchased a new one from Solitare Hawthorn today

Got a white 118TSI

Will find out Monday how long it takes to get here, quite excited, hopefully not too long, although I understand it can take up to 4 months if they need to build it.

If any other Jetta owners have any tips for me or things to look out for do let me know
