bugger, our AC compressor is gone (build date Apr07)
exact same way my Caddy one died at the end of '08
If you have a pre-Jun07 mkV platform VW with an original compressor that works, you should win an award!

Any extended warranty coverage on that?

Bugger, I have been lucky on the AC compressor side of things.

VW has been chipping in to help even out-of-warranty cars. I guess all the mkV platform cars suffer from similar problems

billy's skoda currently has a broken door speaker which rattles all day and night. I just hope my family's two '06 cars won't see any issues like these

I see you've done the APR ECU upgrade. really boosts mid range torque huh?

A quick question. How is your roof. Mine bangs severly over sharp bumps (only when up of course). Any thoughts?
