OEM Bluetooth for Golf VI

Hi guys,

Just wondering if you can help me out... I bought a Golf VI late last year and am loving it, I had the factory Bluetooth unit installed and so far it's great. However just wondering if it has an autodial/phonebook feature?

A friend of mine has just got a new car, and his bluetooth can autodial/speeddial/voicedial pre-programmed numbers through the headunit.

As far as I can tell, the Golf does not have this feature, so I still need to dial the number on my phone before using the bluetooth audio...

If anyone has any info that would be appreciated.

There are multiple different bluetooth versions for your car.

VW Australia "Nokia" dumb unit (steering wheel controls only) >$1000

VW Europe - UHV Low non RSAP full integration ~ $1500 installed (we sell this version)

Nokia "Premium VW Version" ~ $2500 - RSAP Symbian style - only works with late model Nokia phone but fully integrates.

You just need to work out which version you have & maybe you have the wrong phone for the wrong kit???
