Mk6 GTI - Value after a Year ?

Hey sorry to post another post in a short amount of time but I was talking to parents today about my car and we were looking at mk5 GTIs with fairly low kms and there priced around 35g anyway bak to my question

I was wondering if I wait till mid next year while I'll be using my sisters mini S which i'm fine with using,

Could a stock base 3dr gti manual be under 35G??

I don't mean it Like I'm asking people for a definite answer what I mean is like a rough estimate on the website with the pricing it's listed for like 38k and like even though golfs hold there value realy well "could" it be around that much considering all of you know about cars alot more then me

One of the best resources is www.redbook.com.au - have a bit of a check through there, it might help you get an indication!

At the moment, 06' 07 model GTI's are selling for less than 30k - we just traded our 06 GTI (manual 4 door, no options) 42,000kms for 25K & private sale would probably be 28 - 30k.

A lot depends on the options fitted: Nav, Sunroof, leather, DSG.
