    Welcome OutCast

The disc and pads brake first

As to what actually breaks first.........

    -Window Regulators
-Cooling System Housings aka Thermostat Housings etc (Cooling Pressure Test by a local garage will find any leaks.)
-Every 100,000km make sure Timing Belt has been replaced its a bonus if water pump has been done as well.

Also make sure when driving no dash lights like for eg ABS or Engine lights come on while driving as it could be a sign of trouble with some electronic components.

I always say to new buyers Test everything Electrical and/or get the Motoring Club or local mechanic inspect the vehicle before purchasing.

    Good Luck

I always get RACQ mech checks on cars before I buy...its just good practice.

As for timing belt is this scheduled at 100,000? or 120,000 ?
