mate, all I can offer is that bad publicity will cost them more than the hand over fee...

I would recommend taking something else and advising that you don't want to part with any cash...

At the end of the day, they can't afford to have negative press, especailly if this is common in the model.

Getting there. It took my lawyer to sort and I have to sign a none discloser statement. VW are not the company in Australia that they are in other countries. They don't give a **** about anything but there own individual salaries. I spoke with top end managers that should only be picking trash up from the streets as a job.

I wish I could go in to it further but they have stopped my freedom of speach because they know how usless they are internally.
I hope the new MD gets to grips with her high paid none value adding staff.

Hey rusty this may seem like somewhat of a stupid suggestion but are you aware of any out standing recalls on your CC? Ive experianced similiar problems with the new 7 speed dual clutch DSG boxes in the past, Im aware of a software update for the DSG control unit that has rectified this fault previously, whether or not this recall applies to your cc or not im not sure, but a question you should ask your dealer.

You would hope that the dealer knows about the recall already?????

    Thanks Phil

You would think so but have seen silly things missed like this in the past just thought it was worth a mention...

Yes they looked at all the recalls. I even had my own engineer look at it and he said it could take VW months to find the fault and was not confident they would find it. He did not think VW technical had the experience to sort it. He was very critical of his dealings with them in the past and their lack of experience.
I must say VW technical in Australia is the worst I have dealt with in 25 years of motoring.
