Default Passat CC TDI - Vibration Fault

    Hi,

Can any one advise me. I have a CC TDI that I bought from new. It's 3 months old and I have driven it on about 6 occasions. It's been in the dealership since. I have a really bad vibration at 60/80/100 klm per hour. VW Australia as put in new drive shafts and a new DSG box, this as not fixed the problem. Now they will not do any more work and say that all DSG TDI CC's have this as a characteristic and I have to accept it. So why did they do all this work?

    As any one any views!

    Cheers

Rusty, have you driven another CC with the same spec's & see if they are all the same?

Otherwise you will have to go through the normal consumer complaints procedure:

1: Write a letter to the dealer
2: Write a letter to Volkswagen Australia
3: Contact Consumer Affairs in your state.

    Good luck!

I have been down the process of rejecting the car and customer service.
Customer service made it clear they would not do anymore work and that VW have a policy not to replace or buy back a car, even if they can't fix it.
I have put in a complaint with WA consumer protection and also spoke with my lawyer. My lawyer seems to think it's an easy case. They accepted responsibility by their actions( trying to fix the car) they now can't say it's a characteristic because they can't fix it. The DSG box was air freighted in so it must of cost an small fortune.
The DP rang me today he's trying to sort something so will keep you posted.
After owning VW's for 20 years I'm a bit cheesed off. I have bought over $300'000ks worth of cars in 6 years with this DP so hopefully he will get is act together.

I have no pictures of the car sorry it's been 2 months since I have seen it

Had a meeting with the DP today. It's not good, VW not taking any responsibility. Will need to look at my options today! They did offer a V6 but I had to pay them $11k for the change over and they only had a few colours which I don't like.
Will be speaking again to my lawyer.
