Aftermarket built in GPS units
Hi guys.
I have been recently been researching GPS systems for my Jetta and mates R32 and we have come up with a few options for the head unit the first being the Genuine RNS 510
http://www.volkswagen.com.au/etc/med...A4%20Flyer.pdf
the second being waywell with there two GPS units the WD6041

and the 6050

and then theres the third the AVC 9000

I have noticed the aftermarket ones all do pretty much the same job and have all similar functions like linking up to the MFD and steering wheel control but they cant have the ipod connected through the back.
So my question is does anyone know of any other head units that do the same job and match the interior of the car or whether they have these units installed in there car.
Also which one does everyone recommend????
Thanks any help would be great

WD6050 Review
I bought (ebay d-dibra) and installed the WD6050 in my Golf V. The install was simple, just remember to remove the locking screws on top of the unit before installation, or the discs wont go in...
The wiring adaptor just plugs into the VW loom and back of the unit and the GPS antenna needs locating. I put it in the dash tray and it works just fine.
The unit is pretty slick and I was amazed that I could play itunes from my iPhone via the bluetooth link. After it has paired, you just go to the bluetooth screen and press play. Alas, the fwd/back buttons don't seem to work.
The nav works well, although the spoken directions volume has to be adjusted seperately from the other (ie. bluetooth/CD/Radio) volume.
Overall, I give it a two thumbs up (I paid $630 AUD delivered).
