Brazil's Auto Esporte has captured the first images of the production Amarok's face and interior.

Amarok's Face


The white Amarok's front view shows a top specified version with colour coded bumpers and fog lights; also of note is the cracked headlight which could point to VW ironing out various components before production starts late 4th Quarter.

Amarok's Interior


Reveals a robust strong design with an actual handbrake lever not a push button one as seen on most of the new generation VW Family.

It appears also that the plastic dash may appear to be two tone in colour and it has leather seats; you'll also note that the interior door card is not fitted yet showing various wiring with electric windows etc.

Amarok's Engine
The new engine output has been revealed at 180hp/132kW although the capacity has not been revealed.

The new power plant has not been used in any other VW Group vehicle said the Plant Manager which leads me to believe the rumours of a 2.0 TDI with Twin Turbos is true; if that's the case expect 500Nm of torque.
