Default Polo GTI - Loose Turbo & Intercooler Hoses.

    Hoyhoy.

After recent problems with blowing intercooler hoses & loosing turbo bolts.
Me fix, using Murray clamps on the hoses, then for the turbo got 55mm. bolts instead of the standard 50mm ones & used two spring washers with a flat washer in between then to top it off, tied through the drilled bolt heads with heavy stainless steel wire, twice.
No more loosy stuff for me thankyou, me fix.

    The Murray Corporation's view.

AutoBarn is where I obtained them from. They are stocked by Turbosmart & use different part No's, the ones for Polo are 41-60mm with part No=TS-HCT-MO5O. Not cheap at $20.00 each but I get a big discount at Autobarn.

Camera is playing up Johan, so no pics, me just got high tensile (8.8) 55mm which are 5mm longer to allow for the two spring & one flat washers, they came with a blankshaft & got an engineering shop to drill the heads, I got a dozen done.
Plenty of room to do this job if you take off the turbo outlet & the heat sheild on the outlet manifold.

    Hoyhoy.

If you haven't heard, my idea with the turbo bolts didn't work.
But just come across this, looks interesting.
