1998 Passat 2.8 V6 - Gurgling Noise

Hey guys.

Ive got a 2.8L passat which makes a strange gurgling noise when i accelerate past 1500-3000 in 2nd and 3rd gear. Its only when i give the car a fair bit of power on the throttle. If i take it easy the car goes fine, so its obviously struggling for something.

The sound is similar to a fridge turning off, a kind of shuddery gurgle. I'm sorry for my bad explanation, but thats as best as i can put it.

Any help would be much appreciated

Where are you located?

It may be ur leads are shot, check to see if u have oil on ur plugs and if so ur rocker cover gaskets are screwed and oil is seeping up to the leads.
