Advice Please

Hi Guys
I am thinking of installing the Pioneer Navxtra AVIC-F900T into my new Golf Edition.It appears to be a good unit I have been qouted $2496 is this reasonable price ? does anyone know of any faults with this one ? and will it void my car warranty if things go wrong, as a newie to this sort of thing I'm a bit unsure of what to do
Any suggestions, recommendations ????

I take it that the price you've been quoted is installed!!! as the RRP is $1999.
You should be able to do better I reckon.
