I took delivery of my R36 on Friday and it is going back to the dealer tomorrow as the Navigation System doesn't know where it is. When viewing the Current Position screen you can see the Lat/Long change as you drive along but it can't relate that to the mapping system therefore Country, Suburb/City & street are blank & the system cannot plot any destination routes.

Dealer was playing around with it on the day I picked it up & claimed that it just stopped working.

Hopefully it is just a configuration problem, the last thing you want is the dealer pulling the dash apart on your new car.

We've had a few do that.

Leave the car outside in a safe place for half hour or so with the Nav on. Press the compass button on the top right corner of the screen, and a box will appear which will show you current position, and how many satelites it's receiving from. When you come back to the car, it should have picked up a few by that stage. If it doesn't, definately bring it back to the dealer, for them to look at.
