What does the "Type 3C" signify ??

Its the model designation - a bit like Falcons are "EA, EF, BA, BF" etc & Commodores "VC" etc.

The year, layout, body style etc. Its how the manufactures tag a model!

Thanks - That was pretty simple. I thought it might be a model number to signifiy the difference between the 103 and 125 KW models.

Im new to the VW world becaue my wife wants a diesel wagon.
I wasnt aware there was a company that does performance mods for them.

1 - Is there anyone in VIC that can do the Oettinger engine tuning mods
2 - What other Non-Oettinger mods can you get to boost the Kw on the diesel engines w
3 - Can you get away doing these mods while still under factory warranty.

1 - In Vic - Volkspwer in Burwood do the Oettinger mods www.volkspower.com.au
2 - Software is what most people with diesels run with - not many adventure into fiurther mods as software is not available for it.
3 - Oettinger has its own individual warranty that supplememnts VW's for the first 3 years of a cars life:
