There are a couple of options:

The Parrot style "Australian factory upgrade" from the VW dealers which use the steering wheel controls for some functions - these are known to be pretty troublesome.

The aftermarket Parrot type sets with a separate controller - these are great, good value, only downside is a separate unit to mount somewhere.

Thirdly is a European factory bluetooth upgrade, we sell these, they work through the steering wheel controls & show your phone book up on the instrument cluster & Nav (if fitted) - a bit more pricey, but 100% factory. (contact alex@hp.net.au for a quote).

Hopefully that will help you out a little.

    Cheers

I was considering getting a kit too, and if you're willing to install it yourself there are much better options than the VW installed 'parrot' kit, for about $600.
