Default Caddy Speed - 2.0TFSI DSG

For the Caddy fans out there (it's a pretty lonely world) Sorry, not for sale

During the 2008 Volkswagen shareholders general meeting, VW pressented a car called VW Caddy Speed... the Caddy is normaly a little city transport. Volkswagen allowed 5 of their car mechantronic trainees to build up something special. They turned a boring Caddy into something spicey...

the basic was a 2004 Caddy diesel...

they throw out the engine and tranny and replaced it with a 2.0l TFSI engine and DSG tranny from a GTI. Coiloverkit, painting, 19" wheels, bixenon headlamps, bodykit, 4pipe exhust, and some interior modifications.
Nice that car companys allwos newbees to play around a little bit..

With the Caddy Speed put five vehicle mechatronics trainees by Volkswagen under the guidance of their trainer Sascha Spitzer their ideas by a sportier Caddy.

Welcome to the forum, Flightlessbird. Did they do anything to the engine as well as the lowered and GTI suspension?

    Cheers,
