was just going through some old photos, heres one i seen when over in germany. such a nice neat, clean looking sexy car.

That will probably be an 1.8 (or 2.0?) 16 Valve - Aus was the only country that got MK2's in the "GTI" spec - without the "GTI" engine unfortunately.

You don't see many old cars on the road in germnay these days, maybe they only come out when the weather is good!

very true, we were just down at the swimmin hole, middle of summer.

going down the bahn in a 1.6diesel astra doing 180, while the newest of the new flew by.

the coolest thing was all these a6 and a8 sized cars with 2.2diesels flying by at 200+

goes to show you don't need big engines to get the big cars moving.
