    G'day guys,

Great to see an aussie forum for VW. I am thinking of switching to a dub within the next couple of months... currently i got a B5 A4 thats stock and regretted not getting the turbo edition... i.e i am looking for power!!!

The latest golf gti's going around look sweet plus 2k on top there are some decent upgrades... I guess the key question is what is the jury out on manual V DSG?

    Cheers

Welcome GTIOZ....You will find plenty here who have DSG and enjoy it....

I tried hard to buy a Golf GT with DSG and gave up after receiving apalling service. Another bloke, Maverick also scored a dodgy dealer with the net result that we both ended up $$$$ out of pocket.

If you'd like to read the story it will most likely help in the long run. Seems like there are a few bad dealerships out there.

I have just collected an A3 with DSG and am loving it.

    Welcome to the forum!

If you spend a lot of time in traffic (or can't drive a manual) then DSG is a winner.

70% of all the GTI's we see are DSG - I understand thats the ratio that VW sell them in as well.
