Possibly coming MY09 according to rumours on VWW.

My bet is its due to the popularity of Tiguan and also the new 125kW Common Rail TDI being fitted to the Passat CC.

from the mags and local rags, there is a delay on Tiguan's worldwide... They are only produced in one factory at the moment for all markets. That will change with two new factories, but they will only service their markets, not export overseas...

I'm also looking at one, would love the petrol manual one, but can't wait......

Will have to drive the diesel one and see how it goes...

Hi All

I was looking for a new car on the weeked when I came across the Tiguan.

It seems like a great car, but the dealer is saying i could be 12 months before i see a 147.

Has any one heard anything different?

Sheckster, have you got a delivery date, or even a build date yet?

Any info would be great.

Unfortunately its true (12 month wait) VW have had this problem in the past with new releases eg GTI and Eos.

My only advice is if you want a Tiguan sooner than later order now otherwise I'd wait a year or two and then order once the hype has slowed down
