TSI Technology
TSI is now the engine designation given to all of Volkswagen’s twin-charged or single-charger
petrol engines with direct petrol injection. TSI does not refer to a ‘Twincharger’ engine only.
The basic features common to all TSI engines are the downsizing concept (smaller engine
capacities), direct injection and turbo charging. This innovative engineering has brought forth
high-tech engines with excellent torque and power output combined with low fuel consumptionand emissions.

thinking i should've gone TDI instead, oh well, good thing wife works for petrol company, get discount on fuel.

Will post some pics when we take delivery, dealer said it might take up to 4 months 'coz of the options.

Incidentally, I was leaning to get this after market satnav (avc9000)

yes, on-road. however, i received some sad news today. the 147tsi won't be available till the end of the year. might have to change to 125tsi or 103tdi which dealer says will be available june-july

DSG has not been implemented into the Tiguan range yet Alex, I think its Aisin auto transmission IIRC.
