    Default VASS Certificate?

I , on a trip to USA earlier this year purchased a 1972 VW Karmann Ghia which we shipped to Victoria, Australia in August 2011 . After lots of time obtaining a Road Worthy Certificate I contacted Vic Roads to make an appointment for registration to be told I also needed a VASS certificate (Vehicle Assesment Signatories Scheme certificate). Can anyone tell me what to expect from this inspection."

    Cheers

I would say that you'll have to bend over and they'll use the rubber glove!

Sorry, couldn't resist... I would say it would be a comprehensive test, looking for rust etc... Then again, probably much better informed people than me on the forum can answer.

Nice choice of car though! What colour is it?

I have bought several KG's into the country over the years, but never heard of that test (QLD anyway) - sorry, not much help to you.
