Heading off to Wyalkatchem for the WA Porsche club motorkana this weekend. They are also having speed runs on the airstrip. Any VW owners going would be great to catch up. Just look for the "Caddyshak''

you think I should take on the Porsches on the airstrip on the speed runs? nahhh think I will just be on the sidelines but you never know it would be good to find out just what the Caddyshak can do speedwise.

Top speed was 254kmh. They had the speed tests on Sat arvo after the motorkana in the main street. Have some pics but a young asian guy is going to post some video on Utube under Wylcat after I asked him to do so. My camera is just not good enough for video. He had a Canon camera mounted on the roof of his Turbo Porsche and hit 220kmh. A Boxster hit the magic 200khm and I thought that was pretty damned good.


Oh yeah forgot.... a new four door hit 220kmh, think there were about 45 cars there..... just few dollars hanging around town.

the airstrip was just recently resurfaced and did still have some loose stuff on it.
