Default 2007 Polo GTI - Too Chip or Not Too Chip...

    Hey all,
First post on these forums so be gentle!

As the title suggests I have a 2007 Polo GTI. It's quick but I'd like a little more poke!
I was considering APR's ECU update to give me another 40 odd kw but thought I'd consult the experts!

Any one had experience (good or bad) with this?

    Appreciate the feedback.

    Simon.

    Hoyhoy.

Me have experienced this upgrade,(APR) my comment is, mad if ya don't.
Since then have done a lot more, but the ECU upgrade is the first must, you won't be sorry.

Cheers mate - appreciate the feedback!

So it is really that noticeable?

How does it exactly work? APR's explanation seems a little confusing.

One last thing - whats the fuel consumption like with the chip activated (full power setting) - not that it matters at all...

    Cheers, Simon

    Hoyhoy.

I'm sure that Guy from APR will get online to better answer your first question.
The fuel consumption will increase because you'll be putting that foot down & loving it, but if ya drive the same as normal it won't change too much.

    Hoyhoy.

Buy the way Simon my Little Blue Girl has about 250bhp & is awesome.
    Accelerates like a motor bike.
    Me love her.
But more mods in progress, mainly for the track.

    Simon,

You can always pop in to your local dealer and get a trial download (it's just a new software program that is fully reversible) to see if you like the difference
