Volkswagen Australia has today announced availability of the updated-for-2011 Volkswagen Tiguan, bringing the company's acclaimed DSG automatic transmission to all variants.
Standard equipment with the Tiguan 147TSI, the seven-speed DSG automatic transmission can now be optioned with all models in the Tiguan line-up.

Styling, equipment and safety features remain unchanged for the 2011 model year.
Pricing and Availability
Available in Volkswagen dealerships now, pricing for the 2011 Model Year Tiguan remains unchanged.
2011 Volkswagen Tiguan 125TSI 6-speed manual - $33,990
2011 Volkswagen Tiguan 125TSI 7-speed DSG - $36,490
2011 Volkswagen Tiguan 103TDI 6-speed manual - $36,690
2011 Volkswagen Tiguan 103TDI 7-speed DSG - $39,190
2011 Volkswagen Tiguan 147TSI 7-speed DSG - $42,990
This latest update to the Tiguan is likely to be the last for the Australian-delivered model, with a new facelifted model expected to debut internationally in late 2011, ahead of the 2012 model year.
As shown on our speculative rendering (below), the updated Tiguan will likely carry similar headlight styling to the Scirocco, Golf VI, Polo V, Touareg and the updated Phaeton.
An updated engine range is likely, focusing on compliance with the strict new Euro V emissions laws. An e-mobility version of the Tiguan is also expected, although this is more likely to appear with an all-new Tiguan around 2013 or 2014.

Hi.. Just bought a Tiguan DSG 7 4 Motion a month ago that has panoramic sun roof, all leather.. but I dont have that SatNav and Park assist! Is that 2010 or 2011 year model??
You've probably got the 2010 model (as it would have been in stock).... I'm sure you can retro fit a satnav.... Where abouts are you located?
he has 7spd DSG though which is 2011. I was unnder the impression satnav and park assist were options?
Tiggy looks good but seems a bit thirsty. This 7spd DSG must be a new gearbox? Guy what do you know about these - they should be able to handle a bit of torque?
Go APR!!
SatNav & Park Assist are both optional items and not standard fitment. SatNav can be retrofitted, but Park Assist can not.
Its a version of the 7spd in the Audi Q5. Rated at 550NM.
Now found in the new facelifted T5s and new (MY11+) Tiguans ....

@ Lams.. Actually, that is exactly right.. they said it's the latest model 2011 tiguan 4 motion dsg7..
drove a 147TSI with the DSG, park assist is good fun!
They go alright but you do feel the extra weight that it carries, even compared with my passat wagon
couldn't justify the $60k asking price though...
Go APR!!
Alex what makes it sooo expensive?
