Ok - so I am confused.
Can someone explain why I read that some people have a N75J valve plus a diverter valve?
Aren't they the same thing?

Cheers,
Neil.
The diverter valve is a simple device that when you take your foot off the accelerator, it dumps all the spooled up boost back into the intake (its gotta go somewhere!)
The "N75" valve is electronically controlled by the ECU to regulate boost - it opens or shuts the wastegate accordingly.
Some people change the N 75 to an old Audi 200T valve (often referred to as the "N75 "J"" valve - as this may hold 1 or 2 psi more boost at full throttle. Of course you may lose boost elsewhere in the rev range too. Its best to check if your chip tuner recommends one or not!
Hope thats not too technical![]()
