New Multivan ordered .... VW#8 for us.

After a previous shortlived & aborted attempt at ordering a new T5.2, pre-deposit whilst the dealer searched for a suitable van, we've now comitted with a deposit on a new 103TDI Comfortline .... ETA November 2010.

103 TDI Comfortline 7spd DSG
Olympic Blue Metallic
Multifunction Table
Front Fog lights with cornering function
Light & Sound Package
Mutlifunction Steering Wheel
Premium Bluetooth factory fitted
Tint all round
Roof mounted DVD player

I'll fit a RNS510 myself (and possibly visit Guy for some Oettinger magic)

Since it is a special order, its a 4 month wait from now till delivery ....

Means a drive from Canberra to Brisbane, but worth it.

Your the second person I have heard of to say they have been to the ACT for a new VW... They must be doing good deals.
Shame the same can't be said for our local Brisbane dealer, they don't even look up from their desks when you sit in a car in the show room.

$3000 less than any QLD dealer ..... and thats including rego in QLD ....

Now been confirmed as build week 38 with an estimated delivery of end Nov 2010.

I'm getting the drive-away deal as well so the price now is about $5000 less than any comparable price in QLD ......

Our Multivan is finally on the water. Built on the 6th of October with delivery early in January. It will be 2011 complied and plated.

Docking and offloading imminent .... Been quite a wait, ordered 1 July, built 6 October, offloaded Port Kembla 24 Dec, complied 1st week Jan 2011 and hopefully delivered 3rd week Jan.
