Thanks for accepting me as a member -- perhaps I can make it a participating member with a new purchase of a used Touareg .
Firstly a couple of questions:
1/ GPS databases -- updates and how long does VW support the updates for particular models.
2/ I wish to add a Anderson plug for my caravan -- with the battery under the front seat how easy is it to run wiring to the rear bumper area.... or is there an easier way to do this. I shall be using a single cable (+ wire) using a suitable earth point at the rear chassis of the vehicle.. Theory is less VD and it does not stuff up the smart alternator.
