Caddy passenger door not opening.

Hi, My passenger door wont open from the inside and out. I've tried various ways to unlock it but have had no success. I've partially removed the inside door trim and panel to reach the lock but it difficult to get to without removing them totally.

Any suggestions as to how to unlock it? The other doors work fine. I even thought maybe there is a safety deadlock that has been activated.

Any thought please?
