Awesome. Love the black wheels.
Geez the tartan seats in the GTIs are awful though. Bring on leather.

Are any of these coming to Oz?

Besides the wheel color, is there any other diferance? Is the red stiching speciel to the 30? (on the wheel, shifter) I see badges, obviously. what about power, brakes (they look stock),susspension, ect. God it needs leather. I hate the tartan trims.

30 extra hp for one (169kW) and the tunability is better seeing as its the S3 2.0T engine

why didn't the GTI come with that motor anyway?
Sure 200hp is good, but it isn't very impressive these days.

This coming from me with 172hp.......

Hoyhoy.
4 wheel drive, 3 door, that would be nice.
Then the new APR kit giving 300KW. Wowwwwwww.
P.S. Just me dreaming again.

Did you happen to see the Golf RSI (http://uk-mkivs.net/blogs/uk-mkivs_articles/archive/2007/03/09/Could-this-be-the-new-Golf-RS-or-RSI.aspx) studie VW had in Germany ?

It was rumoured to have 300hp AWD and either 2.0T or 3.6 V6 but was cancelled due to it being close to Golf VI production.

Now that would be a fabulous car to own ... even the right colour.

Welcome Chugga - not sure if we get them or not - I think we get a "pirelli Edition" or similar.

Certainly the engine is based much more on the S3 block with the different spec turbo.

I know this as my GTI has the oettinger 257kw kit on it & we use that turbo (further enlarged again) with the relocated diverter valve etc. It also uses the intercooler with the alloy tanks whick is slightly thicker again to!

I undertand that the internals are strengthened as well !
