G'day!

My girlfriend has decided to sell her 58, as it has a blown motor and she is going overseas for a couple of months. I tried to purswade her otherwise, but the descision has been made.
I was wondering if anyone thought that we were trying to sell it for too much or not enough?

Also she was quoted $4000 to recondition the motor by phoenix in Brizzy. Is this too much?
Or does anyone knows of running 1200 lying round?

Any help would be most appreciated

Hi Buddah,

I'm a bit out of touch with the aircooled scene these days.

Mind you - 4K for an engine rebuild would be right.

Good luck with the sale!

Cheers mate!

Seems as though the 1200 motors are as rare as hens teeth, considered an upgrade but then you'd lose the originality.

We'll see how it goes
