Hi All,

A little while back I had a bit of an incident driving home from work (mud bolder the size of the childs head + 100km/h; VicRoads takes no responsibility...).

I have been doing some ringing around and am struggling the find the left-hand side fog lamp grille (the lamp itself is fine; the grille is rooted).

Can anyone suggest/point me in the direction of a replacement?

I am located in Melbourne.

Cheers!

Have you tried VW? from memory they are not expensive. Pretty hard to find used.

Hi - yeah - I rang VW and they qouted me $70 each side...

Seems a bit steep - does this sound right?

I actually found VW prices good for what I wanted... I broke the drivers side little quarter window on my caddy (long story) and O'Briens quoted me $958.. ( said I didnt want all my glass replaced) tried another windscreen guy $380+ then I got one from VW dealer in Perth for $75.85 and fitted it myself. Three bolts hold it in and no glue...:icon_lol:

Sounds a little pricey - but considering most cars end up in wrecking yards from front end accidents, you chances of finding a used one are pretty slim. Won't hurt to make a few calls though!

I think I might jsut go with VW - I tried a few wreckers and they "couldn't help me".

Thanks all the same!
