lol @ tosspot. I wasnt there but from what i have heard he left you for dead on the last session.

I think that's more the slow MX5s that we kept passing, I had to wait a few laps to pass cos we weren't allowed to unless it was on the straight.

I'm not sure about his 'best time' being true at 1:15 since the GT3 only did 1:14.4. He was definitely quicker, but you would hope so for the extra cash :)

03-06-2008, 09:42 AM
:) only having a dig. what was your fastest time.

tosspot
03-06-2008, 10:15 AM
1:19.35 - did 5 in a row under 1:20

That's why it's hard to believe the 4 second difference on 1 lap. I was with him for a number of sessions with neither being able to get rid of the other.

You should have come.

Yeah sometimes its hard to get into the swing of things, and if you two were going at each other your more concerned about not letting each other pass rather then getting the quickest time.

I had to do the fastest laps I could to keep up with all his mods. I'm sure he could have pulled miles ahead if he put his mind to it.

I'd love to have a drive of the ugly coloured beast one day :)

Eddy was lost on his way to the supermarket and he thought this blue Polo knew the way, that's why he didn't overtake you!

Nice driving though, you did very well!

Yeah me would like to have another go there, so as to learn that track better & aim for 1.15's to start with............
Recent trip to Wakefeild got me a 1.13.5 while having problems & being down on power (blowing intercooler hoses twice along with the turbo coming loose & by the time I got home there was only one bolt left which was just hanging on.
I see that the week after I went to Waky at VW Nats, MACCAA & Timbo got 1.13.1 & 1.13.3 in their chipped S3's, so me was happy with my time.

Dave, she's a track bitch (no drags).
As to the dyno, it may happen again one day, no hurry, My guess would be high 140's.

Yep - compared to the S3's & seasoned campaigners - 13.5 is pretty good!
