New Multivan ordered .... VW#8 for us.

After a previous shortlived & aborted attempt at ordering a new T5.2, pre-deposit whilst the dealer searched for a suitable van, we've now comitted with a deposit on a new 103TDI Comfortline .... ETA November 2010.

Specs Ordered:
103 TDI Comfortline 7spd DSG
Olympic Blue Metallic
Multifunction Table
Front Fog lights with cornering function
Light & Sound Package
Mutlifunction Steering Wheel
Premium Bluetooth factory fitted
Tint all round
Roof mounted DVD player

I'll fit a RNS510 myself (and possibly visit Guy for some Oettinger magic)

Since it is a special order, its a 4 month wait from now till delivery ....

Your the second person I have heard of to say they have been to the ACT for a new VW... They must be doing good deals.
Shame the same can't be said for our local Brisbane dealer, they don't even look up from their desks when you sit in a car in the show room.

$3000 less than any QLD dealer ..... and thats including rego in QLD ....

Now been confirmed as build week 38 with an estimated delivery of end Nov 2010.

I'm getting the drive-away deal as well so the price now is about $5000 less than any comparable price in QLD ......

Its Olympic Blue, almost identical to Golf R blue ..... on the same day another Brisbane guy flew down to pick up a R 5dr DSG in Blue and parked next to each other, the colours were identical in the sunlight and shade .....


Bring it around, my wife is now convinced that that is the go for the family bus (after me telling her that for years.....) we will show her what its like.

No problem, I'll come around to show you .... though you will have to prepare her that the ride isn't Skoda 147 chipped quick ..... :icon_cool: ..... my wife and kids love it (best car ever apparently), but I may need some time to get used to it ....

Already had them in there :) even the LWB double cab fits in there (pretty crowded) - Yep, Skoda would go if we could afford one of these.
