Has anyone here changed the trim inserts from the woodgrain to something else?
Where did you buy it from?
and
How good was the quality/fitment?
Cheers

eBay as always has online stores around the place. I've seen bits and pieces for sale on the other VW forums as well. I'm searching back through my history to try and find other sites I've looked at, but I think they've been cleared.
Also VW sell all the parts so you could get say the interior brushed aluminium type trim from the R32 direct from them.
Sorry not the most useful post, but the sites are out there. :)

Yeh it doesnt look like it will be much of a drama to actually buy them but if someone has fitted them id like to hear how well they fitted.
Id imagine the R32 ones would be quite expensive?

Yeah looking at a site in Germany they were well over 100 euros for the center console alone. They do look so much nicer though. I know the wood trim in the GTIs always put me off them. I'm not a fan of wood trim in any car. It just never really does anything for me or just looks tacky.

Car Shine in Melbourne used to import a heap of kits - might be worth a call:
